These Terms apply to services booked or purchased through DrAlexaWheeler.com. By purchasing, booking, or using a service, you agree to the terms below.
Services
Dr. Alexa Wheeler provides speaking, scientific consulting, mentoring, tutoring, and related professional services. The specific scope, timing, and deliverables for consulting, speaking, or custom engagements may be agreed upon separately in writing.
Payments
Payment is due at the time of purchase unless otherwise agreed in writing. Prices are shown before checkout and payments are processed securely through Stripe. All purchases are non-refundable.
Cancellations & Rescheduling
Things come up. If you need to cancel or reschedule a tutoring or mentoring session, please provide at least 24 hours' notice. With at least 24 hours' notice, your session may be rescheduled without penalty. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled session, as well as missed appointments, will be considered used and are not eligible for a refund, credit, or replacement session.
Packages
Session packages are non-refundable and may not be transferred to another person unless agreed to in advance. Unused sessions have no cash value.
Monthly Tutoring & Mentoring
The Monthly Tutoring & Mentoring plan includes two 60-minute sessions per month and requires a five-month minimum commitment. By purchasing the monthly plan, you agree to the five-month minimum commitment and the associated monthly payments. After the initial five-month commitment, you may cancel future renewals in accordance with the cancellation instructions provided with your subscription. Missed or late-cancelled sessions remain subject to the 24-hour cancellation policy above.
Speaking, Consulting & Custom Engagements
Speaking engagements, consulting projects, workshops, and other custom work may have separate terms covering scope, fees, deposits, travel, cancellations, deadlines, and deliverables. If separate written terms are provided for an engagement, those terms will control where they differ from these general Terms.
Educational & Informational Purposes
Information provided through this website, speaking engagements, tutoring, mentoring, or consulting is educational and informational in nature unless a specific professional engagement states otherwise. Nothing on this website creates a doctor-patient relationship or constitutes medical diagnosis, treatment, or individualized medical advice.
Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the content of this website and materials created by Dr. Alexa Wheeler remain the intellectual property of their respective owner and may not be copied, republished, distributed, or commercially used without permission.
Website Use
Please don't misuse the website, attempt to interfere with its operation, or use its content or services for unlawful purposes.
Privacy
Use of this website is also subject to the site's Privacy Policy.
Changes
These Terms may be updated from time to time. The version posted on this website at the time of purchase or booking will apply to that transaction.
